Dr Leithold (aka...Dr. Joe) is a board certified Family Practice physician. He has been serving in the Beavercreek area since 1996.

Dr. Joe was born in the greater Cleveland area where he grew up with two brothers. After graduating from a local college, he initially became a physician's assistant. He served 4 years as a physician assistant before deciding in 1988 to return to college to become a physician. He attended Wright State school of medicine and graduated in 1992. He completed his internship and residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania at which time he returned to the Dayton area to establish his family practice.  

Dr. Joe has achieved many accomplishments: National Honor Society, Eagle Scout, Silver Scalpel Award, and Multiple Academic Awards during his education.

He and his wife, Diane, established Woodcroft Family Practice on August 1st, 2000. Dr Joe and his wife work side by side daily giving each patient individualized care. Billing was brought on-site in 2002 so that closer attention could be given to each account. It is a family owned, independent practice dedicated to delivering the highest quality medical care in the area.

He and his wife currently reside in Bellbrook along with their two sons. Dr. Joe enjoys camping, football, and working outdoors. He and his wife are extremely active in their church. Both have become interested in missions as an opportunity to give back for all God has blessed them with.

Although Dr. Joe didn't graduate from Ohio State University, he is probably one of their biggest football fans. GO BUCKS !!
